Andrea Calise is the President of Teneo’s U.S. Strategy and Communications business.

Andrea brings more than twenty-five years of experience providing strategic communications and investor relations counsel to public and private companies across a range of industries. Andrea has extensive experience helping clients achieve their strategic goals and successfully manage complex reputational challenges and special situations. She has worked for some of the world’s largest brands regarding corporate and executive positioning, investor relations, M&A, shareholder activism, crisis communications and complex legal and regulatory matters.

Andrea has advised on well over one hundred M&A transactions over the course of her career and has extensive experience supporting companies and CEOs during disruption, complex integrations and change management phases. She is one of the leaders of Teneo’s multidisciplinary shareholder activism practice and has advised on dozens of shareholder activist situations and corporate governance matters.

Previously, Andrea served as the head of Teneo’s Investor Relations practice group. Prior to joining Teneo, Andrea was a Managing Director with Kekst, a strategic communications firm, where she was a member of the Executive Committee and co-head of the firm’s financial institutions group.

Before her 18-year tenure at Kekst, Andrea worked in Washington D.C. for two international non-governmental organizations doing communications and public affairs: InterAction and Population Action International.

Andrea holds a B.A. in political science from Bucknell University and a M.A. in international affairs from Columbia University. Andrea is based in New York City and lives in Rye, NY with her family.
