Jan Hromadko

Managing Director

Jan Hromadko is a Managing Director with Teneo’s Strategy and Communications business, based in Washington D.C.

Jan has more than 20 years of experience in international journalism and strategic communications. He advises clients across industries on interaction with policymakers and regulators, the media, and other stakeholders. He has broad experience in corporate and financial communications, reputation management, and public affairs. Jan specializes on strategic communications during antitrust investigations and merger control processes. His has advised clients on several high-profile transactions, including the attempted merger between Alstom and Siemens, Alstom acquisition of Bombardier, Inmarsat sale to Viasat, NIQ’s combination with GfK, and Suzano’s acquisition of rival Fibria.

Jan joined the Teneo office in D.C. in August 2024. Before that he worked out of the firm’s Brussel office. Prior to joining Teneo in February 2021, Jan worked for two other strategic communications firms in Brussels and Frankfurt, Germany. He started his career in journalism, writing for The Wall Street Journal in Germany for ten years with focus on the energy, steel, and aviation industries.
