Katherine Kim

Senior Managing Director

Katherine Kim is a Senior Managing Director in Teneo’s Sydney office. She advises clients on strategic communications and investor engagement, specializing in transformational transactions and financial situations such as M&A, IPOs, spin-offs and shareholder activism.

Katherine brings 20 years of transaction expertise from large- to small-cap clients across multiple sectors. She has significant international deal experience on-the-ground with clients across the U.S., U.K., Europe, China, Australia, and the Middle East.

Prior to joining Teneo, Katherine was a Director with Brunswick Group in New York where she executed a wide range of M&A transactions, with an emphasis on cross-border and regulatory issues. Prior to Brunswick, she spent five years in Sydney where she was the Thematic Analyst for Australian Equities at CLSA and a Vice President in Morgan Stanley’s investment banking division.

Katherine began her career at J.P. Morgan’s Diversified Industrials investment banking division in New York, where she supported clients on M&A transactions, IPOs, debt and equity capital raisings and leveraged buyouts.

Katherine graduated from Dartmouth College with honors in Government, focusing on International Relations.
