Magnus Franklin

Managing Director

Magnus Franklin is a Managing Director with Teneo, based in Brussels, who advises clients on a variety of strategic communication issues ranging from Government Affairs, Strategic Communications an Regulatory Affairs.

He previously reported on EU telecom, IT and media policy and regulation for MLex Market Insight, a news agency specialized in regulatory risk, since 2008. In addition to reporting, Magnus frequently moderated panel discussions and organized events on these topics.

Prior to that, Magnus was based in London, where he wrote for Informa Telecom & Media’s newsletters, and also studied Journalism and Economics at City University.

Magnus is a Swedish national, speaks fluent Swedish, English, French and Spanish, and has lived in Guatemala, Florida, Sweden, Lithuania, UK and Brussels. Most of his spare time is spent raising two kids and taking photographs.
