Monica Frassoni

Senior Advisor

Monica Frassoni is a Senior Advisor with Teneo, based in Brussels. Monica brings 30+ years of experience in European politics, including two mandates as an elected member of the European Parliament (1999-2009), where she was also co-President of the European Green-European Free Alliance Group, and spent 10 years (2009-2019) as co-President of the European Green Party.

Since 2010, she has served as President of the European Alliance to Save Energy, a multi-stakeholder organisation promoting energy efficiency across Europe. She is also President of the European Centre for Electoral Support and a regular speaker and lecturer on sustainable energy, green transformation, climate change and democratic development.

Monica works with our team to advise business leaders on the sustainability agenda in Europe and beyond, and on the importance of taking decisive action to demonstrate their commitment to tackling global climate challenges. She also plays a key role in reinforcing Teneo’s expertise in Europe on ESG and diversity and inclusion issues.
